The Ellipse IPL system

The Ellipse IPL system has been developed to treat:-

Ellipse IPL stands for Ellipse (second generation) Intense Pulse Light.

The Elipse system is used for the treatment of a wide range of skin conditions, including the removal of unwanted hair and the treatment of sun-damaged skin, acne and vascular and pigmented skin disorders.

The light of the IPL targets melanin in the skin or Hemoglobin in the blood. It penetrates a few millimeters into the skin enough to enable the removal of unwanted hair and to treat blood vessels, acne or epidermal pigment. Ellipse uses short, safe bursts of light to treat the specific skin conditions.

The Ellipse IPL has a patented dual filtering mode which does not heat the water in our skins, but bypasses it, producing a safer and a much more effective treatment with better results.

The Difference between Laser and Intense Pulse Light

Treatments with laser and with Intense Pulse Light both work in the same way, choosing wavelengths that are absorbed by the target. Laser uses light with one specific wavelength, Intense Pulse Light (IPL) uses an entire waveband. The different wavelengths can penetrate the skin to different depths, so using IPL is like using a group of lasers in a single treatment.
